My past researches were mostly concerning mass spectrometry applications in combination with statistical evaluations. Applying the nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry (nanoSIMS) and the STED microscopy, and also in cooperation with EM experts, my current study focuses on imaging the protein synthesis and degradation process that occurs in the brain, both in vitro in the neuronal cultures and in vivo in mouse brain, aiming to gain a broad overview and deep understanding of this process and influencing factors.
I am therefore also interested in exploring good methods or probes that allow the integration of the information gained from multiple imaging techniques. In addition, I have interest in visualization and analysis of data.
